    Lotus Moon has been selling the best herbal products since 1998. They include medicinal teas, salves, face creams, massage oils, aromatherapy sprays, and a safe and natural insect repellent. The high quality of these small, carefully made batches is apparent in our products’ naturally vibrant colors, fresh, alive fragrances and their effective healing capacities.

    Our cultivated herbs are planted from non-genetically modified seed and tended to with the greatest love and attention.

    Born in India and raised in the foothills of the Himalayas, Lini’s formative years were steeped in the Ayurvedic traditions which have had a profound and lasting influence on her career path and life choices.

    Moving from India to the mid-west, southwest and eventually to Vermont, Lini works as an Ayurvedic Nutrition Counselor and Chef, organic farmer, botanical herbalist, teacher and lifestyle coach.

    Combined with a fulfilling personal life as a mother, wife, and community advocate, Lini’s compassionate, creative and calming style brings a unique dimension to her Ayurvedic practice. She is devoted to educating others about the benefits of an Ayurvedic lifestyle and is eager to impart her wisdom providing personalized, individualized nutritional recommendations and tools for living a balanced, healthy, empowering, and long life.

    Lini Mazumdar is an Herbalist certified from the Southwestern School of Botanical Medicine. She holds an M.Ed. in Counseling Psychology from Columbia University and has been initiated in the Medicine Buddha tradition by Dr. Yeshi Dhonden, former physician to His Holiness the Dalai Lama. She is also a Certified Ayurvedic Nutrition and Lifestyle Counselor.

  • INDIAN TIFFINS

    A home-cooked Indian meal, that is nutritious, balanced, and Ayurvedically inspired.

    The 5 parts of a tiffin are: Basmati rice, lentils, vegetables, raita, and a meat (if choosing non-vegetarian) dish. The menu changes weekly depending on the season, availability, and freshness of available ingredients.

    Local and organic ingredients are always sourced first!

    (A TIFFIN is a stackable stainless steel container.)

    How It Works:

    • Orders are accepted weekly.

    • Pick up will be at Anjali Farm. You will be notified of time, day and location;

    • At pick up, return last week’s clean, empty tiffin (if you had one), and leave with payment;

    Cost: is for two ample portions:

    Vegetarian: $45 (includes tax)

    Meat: $55 (includes tax)
