Ayurveda means the ‘knowledge for life’. Arising 4000 years ago from the Indus Valley civilization, renown as a sophisticated and technologically advanced culture, the Ayurvedic tradition is based deeply on nature: the five elements, the seasons of life, and the four pillars of health — Diet (Aahara), Yoga and Exercise (Aasana), Breathing Techniques (Pranayama), and Sleep/Meditation (Nidra). Designed to reveal the unique individuality of each human being, Ayurveda provides the tools to know your intricate self, to modify your lifestyle, to become balanced and healthy, thus ensuring a long and fulfilling life.
Born in India and raised in the foothills of the Himalayas, Lini’s formative years were steeped in the Ayurvedic traditions which have had a profound and lasting influence on her career path and life choices. Moving from India to the mid-west and eventually to Vermont, Lini worked as a therapeutic counselor, organic farmer, botanical medicinal herbalist, nutritional chef, teacher and lifestyle coach. All have informed and lead to her unique, contemporary offering of ancient Ayurvedic wisdom.
